Festival Arena

In 1996, Ten years after Big Thunder Ranch opened, a large chunk of it was replaced with what was called Festival Arena, because it was where the Festival of Fools show was staged as a tie-in to "The Hunchback of Notre Dame". It was a show that literally put the guests in the middle and encouraged audience participation.

Cleanups for this were much like cleanups for the Fantasyland Theatre, but there was also some pre-show work to collect trash from the crowd. This was one of the rare situations in which sweepers would wear themed costumes.

One of the nice things was that this location was accessible from the same backstage area as Fantasyland Theatre, where our Parade Cage was.
